Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring experienced Finish Carpenters for high-end custom home projects throughout Marin County. If you take pride in clean, precise finish work and have experience working in custom homes, this is a great opportunity to get steady work with top contractors.
Pay:
$35-$50/hour
DOE Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Health insurance + flexible work opportunities What You'll Be Doing Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards, crown molding and interior/exterior trim Build and install custom cabinetry, doors, frameworks and other wood fixtures Complete finish carpentry and detailed interior/exterior woodwork Read and work from blueprints, plans and project specifications Measure, cut, shape and fabricate materials to exact specifications Use hand tools, power tools and saws safely and efficiently Construct, install and repair wood, plywood and wallboard structures Help lay out work and understand the project scope Maintain a clean, safe and professional jobsite Must be 18+ years of age 5+ years of finish carpentry experience Prior residential construction experience required Previous experience working as a Finish Carpenter required High-end custom home experience strongly preferred Must be familiar with carpentry concepts, tools and construction methods Must be able to read and interpret plans and blueprints Must understand and follow construction safety practices Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. , with or without reasonable accommodation Previous Lead, Foreman, Supervisor or Superintendent experience highly desirable Reliable transportation and professional work habits Respect the Craft With PRST, the more hours you work, the more opportunities you have to earn meaningful prizes through Respect the Craft , our recognition program built specifically for skilled tradespeople.
