Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute complex carpentry projects, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. As a leader on-site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret technical drawings, and manage various aspects of construction from framing to finishing touches. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of diverse projects, including remodeling, restoration, interior carpentry, siding ,deckings and more. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry crews to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely Read and interpret detailed construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, stucco application, siding, roofing, and woodworking Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively Manage material quantities through accurate dimensional measurements using tape measures and basic math skills Coordinate with project managers to ensure adherence to construction plans and schedules while maintaining high safety standards Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a strong background in carpentry Proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and construction plans for various trades including framing and siding Expertise in working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction technologies Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety protocols and quality control in diverse environments Join us as a Lead Carpenter to bring craftsmanship excellence to life!
