Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter Helper/Laborer and be a vital part of transforming residential and commercial spaces! This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in carpentry, woodworking, and construction site operations while supporting skilled carpenters on a variety of projects. We are committed to providing paid positions that foster growth, safety, and craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist experienced carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Support the installation of framing, cabinetry, trim, drywall, stucco, and fixtures across residential and commercial sites. Operate woodworking machines and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as rebar installation, masonry work, or moving building materials around the site. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Assist with miscellaneous tasks including caulking, restoration work, or masonry as needed. Qualifications Prior construction experience or hands-on familiarity with carpentry tasks is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential! Comfortable using hand tools such as hammers, saws, screwdrivers, and measuring tapes; familiarity with power tools for woodworking is a plus. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude. Embark on a rewarding career where your effort builds more than structures — you build skills!
