This position involves commercial metal-stud framing and interior demolition. The initial project is expected to last several weeks, with the possibility of long-term employment based on performance and available work. Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Responsibilities Lay out and frame commercial interior walls Install metal studs, track, headers, backing and blocking Frame door openings, ceilings, soffits and other architectural features Read and work from construction drawings Measure, cut, level and fasten framing materials accurately Perform interior demolition as required Remove drywall, metal framing, ceilings, flooring, fixtures and other materials Load, move and dispose of demolition debris Coordinate with the project superintendent and other trades Keep the jobsite clean, organized and safe Perform other construction-related duties as needed Requirements Commercial metal-stud framing experience required Must be willing and able to perform interior demolition Must be able to read a tape measure and construction drawings Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must be dependable and arrive on time Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Must provide basic hand tools, work boots and appropriate jobsite clothing Must follow all company and jobsite safety requirements Please apply with your contact information, relevant commercial framing experience and earliest available start date.
