This role combines hands‑on carpentry with leadership, planning, and communication responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership — Coordinate daily jobsite activities, assign tasks, and supervise carpenters and laborers. Carpentry Work — Perform framing, finish work, window/door installation, cabinetry, trim, and other skilled carpentry tasks. Blueprint Interpretation — Read and execute plans, drawings, and specifications accurately. Quality Control — Inspect work throughout the project to ensure craftsmanship meets company standards. Safety Management — Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols; maintain a clean, organized jobsite. Material & Tool Management — Order materials, track inventory, and ensure tools/equipment are maintained. Client Communication — Interact professionally with homeowners, contractors, and inspectors. Problem Solving — Identify issues early and implement practical solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years carpentry experience with strong framing and finish skills Crew leadership experience Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and jobsite equipment Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential remodeling or light commercial construction Knowledge of building codes and inspection processes
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
