We are seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter to support our remodeling and renovation projects. This role involves assisting lead carpenters and project managers with a wide range of residential and/or commercial construction tasks. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with remodeling and renovation tasks Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as wood, drywall, and other building components Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup duties Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Help with framing, drywall installation, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing tasks Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
SCHEDULE
7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of construction, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials Basic tools are required Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and perform manual labor Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Positive attitude and willingness to learn Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with residential remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, basements, etc.) Familiarity with framing, drywall, tiling, or finish carpentry OSHA safety training (a plus)
