Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute complex carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and manage various aspects of construction from framing to finishing. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, siding, and new home construction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry crews in the installation of framing, trim, siding, and other building components Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately to guide project execution Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as woodworking. Manage construction site activities including heavy lifting, dimensional measurements, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards Qualifications Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in carpentry and related trades such as framing, trim, siding, and restoration Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential equipment for precise measurements and installations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety procedures at all times Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting technical instructions effectively Join our team as a Lead Carpenter where your expertise will shape remarkable structures while fostering a collaborative work environment.
