Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Residential Construction Framer and bring new homes to life with precision and craftsmanship! In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of residential buildings, ensuring safety, stability, and adherence to blueprints and technical drawings. Your expertise will help shape the foundation of beautiful, durable homes while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in framing, metal building erection, concrete forming, and more, all while contributing to high-quality residential projects. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately build frameworks according to specifications. Erect metal and wood framing structures, dimensional measurements for precise assembly. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for framing, trimming, masonry work, and other construction activities. Perform heavy lifting safely to handle materials such as lumber, steel, rebar, and concrete forms. Execute metal building erection tasks to ensure structural integrity. Read and interpret construction plans accurately while managing multiple tasks on-site efficiently. Assist with construction management tasks by coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all phases of construction. Skills Proven experience in residential framing with strong knowledge of frame carpentry. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for precise framing work. Experience with steel building erection, welding techniques, and metal building components is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures for heavy lifting and working at heights. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to framing projects. Strong understanding of construction management principles for efficient project execution. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to interpret technical schematics independently.
