Job Description

Overview We have a great opportunity to work in a small crew and help build quad plexes in Marion. We value safety, hard work, attention to detail and good attitude. This is a small crew and your contributions will make a real impact. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, this role is designed to foster growth and mastery in the construction industry. We will be doing rough framing, vinyl siding, metal roofing, LVP flooring and trimwork. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, fixture installation, and trim carpentry to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, siding, roofing and flooring. Assist with the installation of cabinets, fixtures, siding, and other wood construction materials on residential or commercial sites. Operate woodworking machines safely for precise cuts and assembly of custom wood components. Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, power tool safety standards, and general construction site safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans accurately and ensure project milestones are met on time. Experience Prior experience in construction or carpentry is highly preferred; familiarity with residential carpentry and remodeling projects is a plus. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with confidence. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and metal stud framing. Knowledge of various wood construction materials including siding, trim components, cabinetry materials, and fixtures. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex projects. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
