Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise. As a key contributor, you will assist in building, installing, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry and construction while contributing to high-quality projects that make a difference. Your energy, attention to detail, and safety awareness will help ensure project success from start to finish. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, CNC machines, and woodworking machines safely and effectively. Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, siding, trim, flooring, tile, roofing components, and other building materials in residential or commercial settings. Assist with framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and water damage restoration efforts. Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring, and metal stud framing as needed. Maintain construction site safety protocols by adhering to power tool safety standards and ensuring proper handling of all equipment. Support restoration projects including mold remediation and water damage repairs while following industry best practices. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and reading blueprints or technical drawings. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture setup. Experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders; power tools for woodworking; masonry tools; and wood construction materials. Ability to interpret schematics and technical plans accurately for precise execution of tasks. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures including power tool safety and proper handling of heavy equipment. Hands-on experience in remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, roofing work or electrical experience is highly desirable. Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication or assembly tasks. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
