Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter / Construction Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction and carpentry tasks, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Whether working on residential projects, restoration jobs, or custom carpentry, you will play a vital role in transforming blueprints into tangible structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work, skill development, and contributing to projects that make a real impact. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, drywall installation, stucco application, siding, and trim carpentry with precision. Handle concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, and demo tasks as needed. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, flooring, moldings, and hardware while ensuring proper alignment and finish quality. Operate woodworking machines safely to produce components for various construction applications. Assist with remodeling projects by performing tasks like flooring installation, caulking, siding repair, and fixture replacement. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following power tool safety protocols and handling heavy lifting responsibly. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical instructions and ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a solid understanding of residential carpentry techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, tape measure as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking. Knowledge of wood construction materials like framing lumber, plywood, drywall panels, siding materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges promptly. Valid experience in restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Commitment to safety practices including power tool safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
