In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all structures are built safely, efficiently, and to precise specifications. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to finishing touches like trim and fixture installation, all while contributing to a collaborative and energetic work environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, concrete forming, and rebar installation for structural integrity. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, siding, drywall, flooring, stucco, and other fixtures with precision. Conduct restoration activities such as water damage remediation, plastering, mold remediation, and reinstallation of damaged structures. Operate woodworking machines safely to produce high-quality wood components for various projects. Ensure compliance with power tool safety protocols while handling power tools for carpentry tasks. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or complex installations requiring heavy lifting or assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety regulations at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role with a strong background in residential carpentry. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking tasks. Experience with wood construction materials like framing lumber, plywood, drywall sheets, siding materials; familiarity with metal studs is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites; physical stamina is essential. Strong understanding of power tool safety practices and proper handling techniques. Knowledge of installation processes for fixtures such as doors, cabinets, trim work; experience with flooring installation is desirable. Construction site experience including working on remodeling projects or restoration industry environments preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Valid relevant certifications or licenses related to carpentry or construction are advantageous but not mandatory.
