The Role We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our field team as a Carpenter/Laborer. This is not just a trade position; it is a career-track role designed for someone who wants to master the physical aspects of construction while learning the complexities of site management and project coordination. The ideal candidate will perform essential carpentry and labor tasks while assisting our Project Managers in monitoring site progress, safety, and subcontractor performance. Work truck will be provided. Key ResponsibilitiesField Execution Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, siding, and interior renovations. Execute daily labor tasks and site maintenance to ensure a clean, efficient work environment. Assist in bathroom renovations, home additions, and structural alterations. Site Monitoring & Management Support Assist Project Managers in overseeing various field teams and subcontractors. Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with high-visibility attire and PPE standards. Identify and report potential site issues or deviations from project plans to the lead Project Manager. Utilize BuilderTrend construction management software to track daily logs and project milestones, Slack for internal communication, and Gmail for inter and outer company correspondence. Requirements Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years in residential construction, preferably within the Hamptons or high-end markets.

Certifications:

OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of carpentry tasks; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant advantage.

Tools:

Must have your own tools

Local Knowledge:

Familiarity with Suffolk County, Town of Southampton, and Town of East Hampton licensing and building requirements.

Attributes:

A "get your hands dirty" work ethic combined with an analytical mind for site logistics.
