In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that building interiors, systems, and equipment are kept in optimal condition, providing a safe and comfortable environment for occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills, electrical knowledge, and carpentry experience in a fast-paced, energetic setting. All work is paid, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct repairs and maintenance on building interior systems including plumbing, electrical equipment, HVAC systems, and facilities equipment. Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, door/window repairs, and maintenance painting to enhance building aesthetics and functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical work techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Maintain plumbing systems by diagnosing problems, repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper system operation. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete various repair projects efficiently. Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential issues early and perform routine maintenance to prevent costly repairs. Lead or assist with projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding tasks, or HVAC system repair when needed. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with electrical equipment or performing welding tasks. Communicate effectively with clients or team members to understand project requirements and provide excellent customer service. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Skills Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical work, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical equipment repair and facilities maintenance. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for residential painting and general carpentry tasks. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or electrical systems efficiently. Familiarity with maintenance repair operations (MRO) practices to ensure ongoing facility functionality. Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and customer interactions. Leadership qualities to guide or collaborate with team members during projects or emergency repairs. Mechanical knowledge that supports the diagnosis and resolution of diverse repair needs swiftly. Experience with HVAC system repair including troubleshooting compressors, fans, thermostats, or ductwork.
