•30.00/hr Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our client's team. This position will oversee carpentry work, lead and support crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on carpentry experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively lead and work alongside a team. Job Description The Lead Carpenter will perform hands-on carpentry work while providing direction and support to carpentry crews on job sites. This role requires the ability to read plans, organize daily work, maintain quality standards, and communicate project progress with management. Responsibilities Lead and support carpentry crews on job sites Read plans, measurements, and project instructions Perform framing, finishing, repairs, and other carpentry tasks Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards Organize materials, tools, and daily work tasks Train and provide guidance to crew members as needed Communicate project progress, delays, and issues with management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Experience & Qualifications Proven carpentry experience required Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred Ability to lead, train, and work alongside others Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods Ability to read plans, measurements, and project instructions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable, organized, and safety-focused Ability to perform hands-on physical carpentry work
