Job Summary Carbondale Area Builders is seeking motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects, utilizing your carpentry expertise and hands-on labor skills. Candidates must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires a current valid driver's license and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Perform carpentry work including but not limited to framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting on residential or commercial sites. Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, framing and roofing. Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks such as drywall installation, plastering, and flooring or tile laying. Follow safety protocols including power tool safety procedures and proper handling of construction materials like wood construction materials and metal studs. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Requirements Construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or general labor roles within the construction industry. Current valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with safety standards such as power tool safety practices and proper handling of heavy materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during various phases of construction. Skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, masonry work and roofing are advantageous. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required

Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
