• Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Plan and implement construction projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including framework structures such as partitions, joists, studding, and rafters. 2.

• Material Management:

• Select, measure, and mark materials for construction.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements. 3.

• Quality Control:

• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
• Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and other tools to ensure accuracy. 4.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to achieve project goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to spec. 5.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
• Stay updated with industry standards and building codes.

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good understanding of basic math.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
