Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal or commercial vehicles Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure weight handling safety standards are met Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers via mobile devices for route updates and delivery confirmations Perform routine vehicle inspections before trips to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues promptly Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus Warehouse experience involving manual handling, heavy lifting, or material handling equipment operation is advantageous Knowledge of commercial truck driving including manual transmission operation is desirable Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while following safe lifting practices Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients during deliveries Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes Join us in delivering excellence through safe driving, efficient moving practices, and outstanding customer service!
