If your experienced we can start you on your own truck right away Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial trucks to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations before each shift Manage delivery documentation accurately using mobile devices, including delivery manifests and route logs Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, addressing customer inquiries professionally, and maintaining a positive interaction during each delivery Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving cargo within the facility and supporting warehouse staff with material handling tasks Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and manual transmission operation to prevent accidents or injuries Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for box truck or heavy vehicle operation Speak and understand basic English Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures Warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling standards in the workplace Experience operating vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities using mobile devices for route management Captain Express Join us and be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service!
