Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Drive box trucks or vehicles along designated routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Assist customers with moving items into or out of residences or commercial spaces, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining safety on the road Operate manual transmission vehicles with skill and confidence, ensuring smooth driving experiences Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services with a valid driver's license suitable for box trucks or vehicles Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Ability to load & unload items efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks when required (certification preferred) Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable Physical ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while following safety protocols We're excited to bring motivated individuals into our team who are eager to deliver outstanding service while staying safe on the job.
