Extruder Operator for Concrete Roof Tile Manufacturer Night shift: Monday - Thursday Competitive starting salary - company benefits after 60 days. The Extruder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining heavy machinery that shapes and forms concrete into high-quality roof tiles. This is a critical role requiring alertness during night hours, physical stamina, and a strong eye for detail. Duties and responsibilities

• Set up, start up, monitor, and shut down extrusion machine according to standard operating procedures.
• Visually inspect concrete tiles for dimensions, defects, and consistent quality; make real-time machine adjustments as needed.
• Ensure a steady flow of raw materials into the extruder and maintain optimal concrete consistency.
• Identify and resolve mechanical hiccups during the shift to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain a clean work area, clean down machinery at the end of the shift.
• Comply with all Safety policies and regulations
• Maintain all quality standards
• Professional and consistent communication with all staff
• Ensure that all safety equipment is in proper working order, report all issues
• Assist with various daily tasks, as needed including assisting other Departments where needed.
• Always maintain a professional work environment.
• Maintain company confidentially with respect to customers, vendors, co-workers, and any outside sources.
• Maintain Crown's Housekeeping standards. The plant must be cleaned every shift; In, around, and under all machinery Skills & Qualifications
• Prior manufacturing or industrial plant experience is highly preferred (but not required).
• Strong mechanical aptitude or basic maintenance skills are a major plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk the plant floor, lift up to 50 lbs. consistently, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Must be dependable and fully available to work the designated night shift schedule

Work may require frequent weekend work. Physical requirements Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for extended periods, frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, working in a space that lacks climate control or lifting objects with an established maximum weight.
