Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities Mix, pour, and finish concrete for various construction applications, including foundations, slabs, and walkways Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of concrete work Construct formwork and frameworks to contain poured concrete, ensuring stability and accuracy Install rebar and metal supports according to specifications to reinforce concrete structures Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete surfaces Perform concrete cutting, grinding, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work as needed on-site Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and heavy lifting techniques Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete installation and finishing Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and machinery such as concrete mixers and pumps Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand blueprint specifications Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring techniques, rebar installation, and formwork construction Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the ability to work within project timelines Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery required for concrete work Experience with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, metal stud framing, restoration work or similar fields is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks Join our team if you're ready to build lasting structures with precision and enthusiasm!
