In this role, you will be an essential part of building durable, high-quality concrete structures by assisting with various tasks on construction sites. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in concrete work, construction techniques, and workplace safety while contributing to impactful building projects. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to create smooth, durable surfaces. Support rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing to prepare for concrete placement. Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete pumps safely and effectively on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, roofing support, and restoration projects. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Support the installation of flooring, tile laying, caulking, masonry work, and other finishing tasks as needed. Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related laborer role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing techniques, and blueprint specification interpretation is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of technical drawings will be advantageous. Experience with heavy machinery such as concrete mixers or relevant power tools is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a team environment on busy construction sites is essential.
