Concrete Finisher Laborer Dynamic Trenching and Excavating St. Louis, MO Job Details Full-time | Contract $25 - $60 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Pump operation Construction industry experience Safety standard operating procedures Full Job Description Overview Join our team at Dynamic Trenching and Excavating as a finisher/laborer/operator. We are a company that is based out of the St. Louis area and do in town work as well as work within 6 hours of our shop. We are a small company growing fast in an industry of demand. Most jobs are quick turn around jobs, that are 1-2 days long, with other jobs lasting up to a few weeks. We are looking for a fast past, quick thinking careful worker who can finish concrete but also operate mini excavators, dingos, loaders, dump trucks back up a trailer. We work hard every day to complete our job and are never short on work. We are looking for the right 2 man crew to divide and conquer our work load efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing to achieve precise textures and finishes according to project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, formwork construction, and rebar installation, operate mini excavators, jack hammers, skid steers and dingos Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement of forms, rebar, and other structural elements Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, scaffolding, and safety barriers in compliance with construction safety regulations Support the installation of concrete forms and reinforcement materials like rebar and metal studs for various structures Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for concrete pumping, placement, and finishing activities Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and related trades such as carpentry or drywall installation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks Mechanical knowledge including operation of concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans is a plus Strong commitment to construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Prior experience with renovation projects or commercial building sites is advantageous CDL not required but would be an Advantage Join us in building lasting structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork!
