Experience in dispatch, heavy call volumes, or short haul dispatch will be beneficial in this role. You will enjoy weekly payroll and benefits will take effect your day of hire! Job Responsibilities:
Provide quality and timely customer service by handling incoming calls, performing order entry, addressing basic questions and concerns on orders. Possess the ability and talent to assist in the dispatch role as needed. Focus on tasks and handle interruptions and changes in priorities while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment. Promote safe work habits and communicate well with drivers when concerns are raised. Interact with and satisfy customer requests for changes in shipping requirements. Communicate with plant personnel to make them aware of upcoming special products and out of the ordinary orders. Provide leadership in a positive helpful manner to ready mix drivers. Monitor and control dispatch and movement of trucks and drivers to ensure good service while keeping an eye on the bottom line.
Qualifications:
Must have basic computer knowledge and data entry. Previous Command Batch experience a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Strong basic math skills.
