Precast Specialist - Concrete Tank Production Ledford Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Precast Supervisor to lead the daily production of concrete aerobic tanks. This role requires hands-on skill in rebar work, concrete finishing, and component installation, light wiring and the management of precast workers. The ideal candidate has prior experience in concrete or precast manufacturing and can perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Responsibilities:
Perform and supervise daily precast production tasks including forming, reinforcing, and preparing tanks for concrete pours. Build rebar cages and tie steel according to specifications and production standards, some tanks could be fiber re-inforced as well. Verify air releases and internal components are installed correctly prior to pouring. Operate concrete vibrators and finishing tools to ensure tanks meet structural and appearance requirements. Inspect tanks during and after production and report any patching or repair needs. Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area. Assist with general labor tasks and special projects around the business.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in precast concrete, concrete forming, rebar tying, or related construction work is required. Strong understanding of concrete handling, vibration, curing, and finishing. Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently without constant oversight. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to manage other worker to accomplish precast tasks Must be able to speak
Spanish and English Physical & Work Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 60 lbs as part of regular job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation . Must be able to work in outdoor industrial conditions year-round. Must feel comfortable working in an industrial inviroment. Must pass pre-employment, observed drug screening at an approved facility. Must be able to learn to drive yard fork lifts and operate crane machinery. Must be able to learn or have skills operating and maintaining the concrete plant.
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive pay based on experience. If available, overtime is paid at time-and-a-half. Subsidized health insurance. Paid time off increases with tenure.
Paid Holidays Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Standard daytime production hours which may vary based on temperature and weather. •
