Duties:

Concrete finisher for swimming pools. Will set forms to hold concrete; check that forms are properlyconstructed to architects specifications; spray concrete from gunite machine into forms; after gunite concrete is sprayed will spread level and smooth concrete using basic concrete tools such as levels, shovels, and trowels; Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools; wet concrete surface, and rub with stone to smooth surface and obtain specified finish; be able to read blueprints; be able to signal drivers and other employees to direct gunite spraying into specified areas; check concrete to make sure it is properly aligned and at proper depth; clean equipment and work areas. Employer will provide worker all tools, supplies, & equip free of charge. 1 mo. exp. req. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors. Pre-hire background check required. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. $23.31/hr Mon-Fri; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 6am-6pm. OT may be avail. @ $34.97/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
