The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to concrete construction and landscaping. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial sites, where you will assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete. In this role you will also assist in various landscaping projects, such as, but not limited to, planting, weeding, edging and installing hardscapes. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and operation of concrete mixers and pumps. Prepare job sites by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms for concrete pouring. Mix concrete according to specifications and ensure proper consistency. Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and equipment. Perform plastering tasks as needed for surface finishing. Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation. Operate hand tools safely and effectively for various construction/landscape tasks. Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and cleaning tools after use. Builds and renovates stone pathways, patios, and ledges. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety on the job site. Skills Lifts 50 pounds and handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbing. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools. Experience with concrete forming techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with plastering techniques for finishing work. Proficiency in installing non-plant elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls and water features. Valid driving license is a plus for transporting materials when necessary. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication on-site.
