Overview Experienced Concrete Finisher / Concrete Laborer T Stone Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Finisher / Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on concrete experience who can work independently as well as part of a crew. The ideal candidate must understand the complete concrete process, including forming, placing, pouring, screeding, finishing, and completing high-quality concrete work according to plans and project specifications. This is not an entry-level position. Previous professional concrete experience is required. Responsibilities Set and build concrete forms accurately according to plans, grades, elevations, and specifications. Prepare subgrade and work areas prior to concrete placement. Install rebar, dowels, wire mesh, and other reinforcement materials. Place, spread, screed, level, float, edge, joint, and finish concrete. Perform broom finishes, smooth finishes, hand finishes, and other required concrete finishes. Construct and finish sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ADA ramps, slabs, pads, and other concrete structures. Verify slopes, elevations, grades, and dimensions before and during concrete placement. Perform concrete demolition, saw cutting, grinding, patching, and repairs when required. Properly use hand tools and power equipment including saws, grinders, vibrators, compactors, mixers, trowels, floats, edgers, and finishing tools. Assist with concrete pump operations and placement when necessary. Read and understand construction drawings, plans, measurements, and specifications. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements. Work efficiently with supervisors, project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other crew members. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of professional concrete construction experience preferred. Strong experience as a Concrete Finisher is required. Must have experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and layout. Experience with sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ADA ramps, slabs, and flatwork strongly preferred. Ability to produce professional-quality concrete finishes with minimal supervision. Ability to read a tape measure and understand grades, slopes, elevations, and construction plans. Experience installing rebar and reinforcement materials. Knowledge of concrete placement procedures and finishing timelines. Ability to safely operate concrete tools, saws, grinders, compactors, and other construction equipment. Must be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry heavy construction materials and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with public works and prevailing wage projects . Experience constructing ADA-compliant ramps and sidewalks . Experience with curb and gutter work. Experience working from survey stakes, elevations, and grade information. OSHA or other construction safety training. Experience operating small construction equipment is a plus.
