We are looking for an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinate multiple job sites, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality standards. Position Summary The HVAC & Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field activities related to HVAC and Plumbing installations on commercial construction projects. This position coordinates Foremen, subcontractors, material deliveries, manpower, safety, quality control, and project schedules while working closely with Project Managers and company leadership. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate HVAC and Plumbing Foremen and field personnel across multiple projects. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documents prior to installation. Coordinate project startup, manpower planning, equipment, materials, and tool requirements. Monitor project progress to ensure milestones and schedules are achieved. Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify quality, productivity, and compliance with project specifications. Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing project delays. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, General Contractors, Inspectors, and vendors. Monitor labor productivity and recommend staffing adjustments when necessary. Assist with planning work sequences and installation strategies. Review daily reports, manpower reports, and field documentation. Mentor, coach, and develop Foremen and field personnel. Participate in performance evaluations and workforce development. Support project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout activities. Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly utilized and maintained. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial HVAC and/or Plumbing construction experience. 5+ years in a Superintendent or Senior Foreman leadership role. Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical and plumbing systems. Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Strong understanding of project scheduling and manpower planning. Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, and construction management applications. Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record. OSHA 30 Certification preferred. Med Gas Certification is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
