This is a 1099 Independent Contractor, project-based position . We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, or related trades. Responsibilities Depending on your skills and experience, projects may include: Interior and exterior residential and commercial painting Siding installation and repairs, including Hardie Board Window installation and repairs Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Drywall installation, finishing, and repairs Pressure washing Paver cleaning, repair, refurbishment, and sealing General home repairs and remodeling Job-site preparation and cleanup Maintaining a professional and clean work environment Communicating professionally with customers Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, or related trades Strong experience in at least 2 or more trades Able to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision Knowledge of common construction tools, materials, and techniques Reliable transportation Own tools necessary to perform your work Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Professional communication and customer service skills Able to provide photos or examples of previous work References are a plus Preferred Skills We are especially interested in contractors experienced in: Painting Drywall Siding Windows Remodeling Pressure Washing Pavers General Repairs You do not need to be an expert in every service. However, candidates who can confidently perform multiple types of work will be highly preferred. Compensation Project-based compensation based on experience, skills, and scope of work. Compensation will be discussed based on the contractor's experience and the requirements of each project. 1099 Independent Contractor This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position . The contractor will be responsible for their own applicable taxes, tools, transportation, insurance, and business expenses and will perform work on a project basis under an independent contractor agreement.
