A full-time year-round opportunity is available for a skilled Landscape Construction Foreman with a valid CLD-A to direct a dedicated crew in building premium residential and commercial outdoor spaces. The primary objective of this position is to oversee daily job site operations, safely executing high-value projects while ensuring exceptional quality. The ideal candidate will report to the physical yard daily to lead a two-to-three person team to success. Based in Caledonia, MI, this premier, fourth-generation family-owned landscape design and construction firm has been an industry leader since 1945. Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Full-time, year-round position.

Responsibilities Manage and motivate a two-to-three person crew to ensure high productivity on residential and commercial projects. Install a variety of landscape features, including paver patios, retaining walls, plantings, and drainage systems. Operate heavy machinery safely, such as mini excavators, track loaders, skid loaders, and dingoes. Read and interpret site plans to effectively execute the construction and installation of new hardscapes and softscapes. Maintain positive client relations on-site while communicating project progress effectively. Drive a dedicated, daily-use company dump truck to transport materials and equipment. Participate in winter snow removal operations to support year-round business needs.
Requirements Experience:
5 to 7 years of proven experience as a landscape foreman managing large-scale projects.
Licensure:
A valid CDL-A is required.
Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge of grading, planting, small irrigation repairs, and hardscape construction.
Leadership Attributes:
Must be a hardworking, honest, and punctual team player capable of setting a positive tone for the crew.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Portfolio:
Ability to provide a portfolio or photos showcasing past hardscape and landscape projects.
