This is a working foreman position. You will be responsible for leading field employees, coordinating daily work, maintaining a safe and productive job site, and working alongside your crew when needed. Responsibilities Lead and supervise field crews on selective demolition projects Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity Review project scopes, drawings, and demolition plans Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, dumpsters, and materials Communicate project progress, issues, and additional work to management Perform selective demolition and general construction work alongside the crew as needed Ensure demolition is completed according to project scope and schedule Enforce company safety policies and required PPE Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Document project progress and job site conditions as needed Communicate professionally with general contractors, other trades, and customers Qualifications Previous construction or demolition experience required Previous foreman, crew leader, or supervisory experience preferred Selective demolition experience strongly preferred Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project scopes Experience operating common demolition and construction tools Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and make appropriate field decisions Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to perform physically demanding construction work Benefits Benefits are available after 90 days of employment and include: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Additional Information Work is performed at various commercial and construction job sites throughout Metro Detroit. Job locations, daily responsibilities, and schedules may vary based on project needs. Candidates must be comfortable working in active construction environments and performing physical work including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and operating construction tools.
