Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical installation and construction activities on commercial projects. The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising field personnel, coordinating daily work activities, ensuring projects are completed safely and according to plans and specifications, and maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide daily supervision to electricians and other field personnel
• Plan, organize, and assign daily work activities based on project schedules and priorities
• Review electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
• Coordinate electrical installations with project managers, general contractors, other trades, vendors, and inspectors
• Ensure electrical work is completed in accordance with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and company quality standards
• Monitor crew productivity and project progress and communicate potential delays, material shortages, or other issues to project management
• Determine material, equipment, and manpower needs for upcoming work
• Coordinate and verify delivery of materials and equipment required for the project
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation and workmanship
• Identify field conflicts and assist with developing practical solutions
• Maintain an organized, safe, productive job site
• Conduct or participate in toolbox talks and enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Ensure employees use required personal equipment and follow established safety procedures
• Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, material usage, and other required project documentation
• Communicate change conditions, additional work, and potential change order items to project management before proceeding
• Coordinate inspections and assist with testing, troubleshooting, startup, and project closeout
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to electricians
• Maintain professional communication with customers, contractors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical field experience, with previous foreman or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable NEC requirements
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and construction documents
• Demonstrated ability to supervise crews and effectively manage field operations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to plan work, anticipate project needs, and manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements
• Ability to use basic mobile and electronic applications for communication, timekeeping, documentation, and project reporting

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform in active construction environments
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work at heights as required
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment commonly associated with electrical construction
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions

Expectations:

The Electrical Foreman is expected to lead by example and take ownership of the safety, quality, productivity, and organization of the electrical work performed by the crew. The Foreman serves as the primary field leader for the assigned project and is responsible for maintaining clear communication between the field personnel and project management.

Pay:

$40.00 - $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
