Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced bilingual Framing/Carpentry Foreman to lead and oversee framing and carpentry operations on construction sites. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate crews, manage daily activities, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship on commercial construction projects. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, uphold safety standards, and ensure that all work aligns with technical drawings and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage teams, interpret complex schematics, and contribute to the successful completion of large-scale construction endeavors. Duties Lead and supervise framing and carpentry crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain construction schedules Review construction drawings regularly to verify compliance with design specifications and identify potential issues early Manage crew assignments, monitor productivity, and provide mentorship to team members for skill development Ensure adherence to federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards and construction site safety protocols Oversee quality control processes, including inspection of work for structural integrity and compliance with building codes Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, safety records, change orders, and daily logs using Bluebeam or similar software Collaborate with management on budgeting efforts, resource allocation, and procurement of materials like schematics or heavy equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical testing Supervise the implementation of construction schedule coordination efforts to meet project deadlines
Requirements Bilingual:
Spanish and English Proven experience in heavy timber framing or commercial carpentry with a strong background in construction site management Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore Knowledge of federal safety regulations such as OSHA standards and construction safety management practices Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and use testing equipment like ohmmeters for electrical components Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques and project management principles Excellent communication skills for managing crews effectively and coordinating with project stakeholders Valid certifications in OSHA safety training; additional certifications in management or specialized trade skills are a plus Construction site experience in commercial projects is essential; familiarity with pipeline projects is advantageous Join our team as a Framing/Carpentry Foreman where your leadership will shape the success of our projects while ensuring safety remains our top priority.
