Pipefitter Foreman Multi-Craft Pay:

Maryville, TN | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits | Signature Labor Services is hiring an experienced Pipefitter Foreman in Maryville, TN! We are seeking qualified candidates from Maryville, Knoxville, Alcoa, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Loudon, Sweetwater, and surrounding areas within approximately a 1-hour commute.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspects the work site to determine methods of repair; supplies and tools needed to successfully complete the work. He assigns employees to specific tasks and supervises these daily activities, assisting in layout, fabrication and assembly problems as required. Provides for the transportation of tools, equipment and materials to the job site. Orders necessary supplies and materials required for the installation of new work and the remodeling of existing systems. Reports accidents, near misses, and injuries to office supervision and actively cooperates with investigations. Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance. Conduct on the job training or arrange for worker training in safety or equipment use. Uses various hand tools, power tools, torches, and welders. Operates Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, and Boom Lifts. Reports accidents, near misses, and injuries to office supervision and actively cooperates with investigations. Compile operational and personnel data, such as time worked, jobs worked, inventory data, equipment used, repair and maintenance information. Reports to office supervision concerns with employees' work-related issues and provides mentoring to employees to correct job-skill deficiencies. Conduct on the job training or arrange for worker training in safety or equipment use. Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet our customers need and will be expected in this role.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees the daily work assignments of a crew of one to 12 employees. Reports out to office supervision the performance of the crew in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints/resolving problems and/or reporting those to office supervision for assistance. Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and five + years of hands-on foreman experience.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
