Superintendent / Project Manager About the Company Richardson-Wayland Ferreira is a leading provider of transportation and infrastructure construction services, specializing in highway construction, traffic signals, ITS systems, overhead structures, and sign installation. The company is committed to delivering high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on long-term client partnerships and workforce development. Position Summary The Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews and overseeing daily construction activities related to highway infrastructure, traffic signals, ITS systems, overhead structures, and sign installations. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct field crews in all aspects of roadway and electrical construction Plan daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials Read and interpret plans, specifications, and traffic control drawings Coordinate installation of traffic signals, ITS devices, signage, and structural components Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Monitor productivity, quality control, and project progress Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors Maintain daily reports, timekeeping, and job documentation Identify and resolve field issues proactively Qualifications 5+ years of experience in highway or electrical construction Prior supervisory or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of traffic signal systems, ITS, or roadway construction Ability to read plans and specifications
OSHA 10/30
certification preferred Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Skills & Competencies Leadership and crew management Strong communication and decision-making Safety-first mindset Problem-solving in fast-paced environments
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$39.25 - $42.25 per hour
