Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Remodeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming residential spaces through skilled renovation, restoration, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will help clients achieve their vision by executing high-quality craftsmanship across a variety of home improvement tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of remodeling projects Perform a wide range of building material installation tasks including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, window installation, cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, and roofing Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as concrete finishing, masonry work, welding, caulking, and concrete forming Conduct construction inspection and quality control checks throughout each project phase to ensure adherence to safety protocols and specifications Manage outdoor work environments by installing hardscape features like patios or walkways and performing restoration or masonry work as needed Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise execution of remodeling plans Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures during heavy equipment operation and general construction activities Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on residential remodeling projects in Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques Strong knowledge of building construction methods including framing, trim carpentry, electrical experience, plumbing systems, roofing, masonry, and flooring installation Ability to perform detailed tasks such as glass installation, cabinet installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), caulking, painting, tile laying, concrete forming and finishing Experience with construction management practices including estimating costs and managing schedules effectively Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe working environment at all times Outdoor work experience preferred for projects involving exterior restoration or hardscape installations Join us if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship skills into vibrant residential spaces!
