This one matters. When a fire hits someone's home, they're not just worried about walls and floors. They're worried about their stuff. Family photos. Clothes. Kids' toys. Furniture. The things that make a house feel like home. That's where our Contents Team comes in. We're hiring a Contents Crew Chief to lead the documentation and packing side of fire jobs. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, sharp, and comfortable using technology. You'll run the job from an iPad, make decisions on what can be cleaned vs. what cannot, and guide a small team who packs and moves items as you document them. This is steady, daytime work. No on-call shifts. No overnight emergencies. Monday through Friday. What You'll Do Walk through fire-damaged homes and carefully document personal property using an iPad Take photos and write clear descriptions of items Decide whether items are salvageable (can be cleaned) or non-salvageable based on training Direct 2-3 team members who wrap, box, label, and move items as you document them Keep projects organized so nothing gets missed Help load, move, and transport contents when needed Take pride in restoring items that others might throw away You are the pace-setter. The faster and more organized you are, the smoother the whole job runs. What We're Looking For Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable using an iPad every day (photos, apps, basic data entry) Able to learn new software quickly (we use a system called Contents Track and will train you) Clear communicator who can guide a small team Self-motivated and able to stay focused in busy environments Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with help Valid driver's license Able to pass a background check No restoration experience required. We care more about your mindset than your resume. If you're sharp, motivated, and take pride in doing things right, we can teach you the rest. What the Job Is Like You'll work inside homes after fire damage. There may be smoke odors and soot. Every job is different. You'll work with a small, tight-knit team. There's real satisfaction in seeing something dirty and damaged come back clean and organized. This is a role for someone who likes being productive, staying busy, and doing work that feels meaningful.
