In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality vinyl wraps to a variety of vehicles, transforming their appearance with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive aesthetics, surface preparation, and creative vehicle modifications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand tool skills, and a keen eye for detail to deliver stunning results that exceed customer expectations. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through thorough cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of vinyl wraps Measure and cut vinyl materials accurately to fit various vehicle contours and designs Apply vinyl wraps smoothly using squeegees, heat guns, and other hand tools to eliminate bubbles and wrinkles Use power tools such as grinders, sanders, and spray guns for surface finishing, auto body repair, and paint touch-ups when necessary Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including minor auto repairs, buffing, auto glass replacement, and detailing to enhance overall vehicle presentation Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to ensure flawless application and adherence to safety standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper handling of paints and chemicals Requirements Proven experience in dealership or automotive body shop environments with a focus on vinyl wrapping or auto surface customization Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and spray guns Familiarity with automotive buffing, auto body repair, auto restoration, and surface preparation techniques Knowledge of automotive painting processes including conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and coating application Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving vehicles or large materials Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about project progress and outcomes Experience with auto estimating or project planning is a plus but not required Mechanic experience or background in auto maintenance is advantageous for understanding vehicle systems during installation processes Join our team to bring innovative vehicle transformations to life!
