What You'll Do:

(1) Perform general manual labor in the construction, maintenance and repair of County equipment and infrastructure, sidewalks, drains, signs, streets, wastewater system, parks, buildings and other Public Works infrastructure. (2) Make and install street signs for roadways or other signage needs. (3) Follow all safety rules and procedures, attend safety and job training classes as required. (4) Perform similar duties as assigned.

Requirements What You'll Bring:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year in the operation of light equipment. Any acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the listed knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.

Ability to:

accept direction for supervisor; learn, operate and perform maintenance of light equipment; communicate effectively in writing and verbally; establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with co-workers, other county departments, representatives of other agencies and organizations, and the public.
