Job Description

Temporary Full-Time Construction Laborer - 2 Positions Job Overview Perform general labor duties in support of residential exterior construction and maintenance projects. Duties include assisting with screen enclosure repairs, rescreening, aluminum frame preparation, pressure washing, exterior maintenance, loading and unloading materials, jobsite setup and cleanup, handling tools and equipment, climbing ladders, and performing other manual labor tasks as assigned. Aluminum frame preparation includes sanding aluminum screen enclosure frames using hand sanders, sanding blocks, wire brushes, scrapers, and related hand tools to remove oxidation, dirt, and loose coatings prior to repair, restoration, or painting activities. Pressure washing includes operating pressure washing equipment, hoses, spray wands, and related cleaning tools to clean screen enclosures, concrete surfaces, exterior structures, and surrounding work areas in preparation for repair and maintenance activities. Exterior maintenance includes removing debris, cleaning work areas, replacing screws and fasteners, carrying materials, organizing jobsite materials, and performing general upkeep tasks associated with residential exterior improvement projects. Loading and unloading materials includes lifting, carrying, staging, and organizing screen mesh, aluminum components, ladders, tools, pressure washing equipment, fasteners, and other construction materials from company vehicles and trailers to the jobsite. Other general labor tasks include jobsite preparation and cleanup, moving materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe work area. Work is performed outdoors at residential worksites and may involve bending, lifting, carrying materials, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Additional Job Terms:
Employment period is October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be available depending on workload, project scheduling, weather conditions, and customer demand, but is not guaranteed. Hours worked over 40 in a workweek will be paid at $26.76 per hour (1.5 times the offered $17.84 hourly wage), or at any higher rate required by applicable law. Workers report to 525 SW Macedo Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Work is performed at assigned residential jobsites within the approved area of intended employment. Employer provides daily transportation from the reporting location to and from assigned worksites. Employer uses a single workweek as its standard for computing wages. Workers are paid biweekly. Employer will make all deductions from pay required by law. No other deductions will be made except those required by law or voluntarily authorized by the worker. Employer provides, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform assigned duties. No prior experience or formal training is required. Workers will receive normal jobsite orientation and instruction regarding assigned duties, equipment, and company safety procedures.
