This energetic role offers hands-on experience working on diverse construction projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers to aid in various construction tasks. Prepare and interpret construction plans and blueprints to support accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving materials, rebar installation, and concrete pouring. Assist with formwork construction, concrete cutting, finishing, and stucco application. Support masonry work, metal stud framing, roofing, tile laying, and flooring installation as needed. Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and procedures to maintain a secure environment. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprint specifications. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete pumping, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment safely. Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting team members.
