In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation jobs. Your hands-on expertise and adherence to safety standards will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively for tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Install rebar, metal studs, framing components, and perform concrete forming and concrete pumping tasks Carry out tasks related to heavy lifting, demolition, restoration, roofing, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, and other finishing work Ensure compliance with all construction workplace safety regulations by following safety protocols diligently Assist with concrete mixing using mixers or pumps and perform concrete cutting or finishing as needed for project completion Support the interpretation of construction plans and schematics to ensure precise execution of tasks on-site Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes when required for project needs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Proven experience working on diverse construction projects with a focus on safety and quality Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately Skilled in blueprint specification interpretation and understanding detailed construction plans Knowledge of concrete forming techniques including formwork construction and concrete finishing processes Familiarity with construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and heavy equipment safely Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, roofing systems, stucco application, and renovation work is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to all safety protocols at all times Join our team if you're eager to build your career in a vibrant environment where craftsmanship meets innovation.
