Full-Time About Us Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and strengthening communities by providing a range of services and support to individuals and families throughout the Ozarks. Position Overview OACAC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Energy Construction Crew Member. This role supports the Weatherization Program by completing construction-related work in client homes in accordance with program standards and safety requirements. Work Schedule Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM 40 hours per week Schedule may vary based on program needs Key Responsibilities Complete assigned work orders in residential settings Install and repair weatherization materials, including insulation, doors, windows, and air sealing components Operate hand and power tools safely Work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders as required Assist with material handling, inventory, and job site preparation Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas Preferred Qualifications Previous construction or weatherization experience Basic knowledge of residential construction practices Experience operating hand and power tools Required Skills and Abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work in a professional manner with clients and staff Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Ability to obtain required certifications (e.g., Lead Safe Renovator) Compensation Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits Paid Time Off (vacation and sick leave accrued monthly) Paid Holidays Medical Insurance (employer contribution provided) Dental Insurance (employer contribution provided) Vision Insurance Life Insurance Supplemental Insurance Options Additional Information Training provided Tools and equipment provided Regular, full-time schedule with no weekend requirements Pre-Employment Requirements Valid driver's license Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) background check Equal Opportunity Employer Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
