Essential Functions and Responsibilities General cleaning of jobsite, light demolition, stocking of materials into buildings, etc. Possesses ability to read blue prints & other construction documents Performs skilled work in one or more complex combinations of assignments in grounds, construction, maintenance, repair, and other miscellaneous functions Performs duties in one or more functional occupations, i.e., general labor, air conditioning/ heating specialists, electricians, masons, carpenters, welders, painters, equipment operator, and other skilled personnel to build, construct, and maintain facilities, buildings, equipment, machinery, etc. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant policies and procedures Takes pride in work and quality that will be turned over to end-user Participate in labor, clean-up, and punch work items Attend training and safety meetings, adhering to all guidelines Work constructively as part of a team Sustain punctuality and a good attendance record Perform construction activities as assigned Exercise initiative or, as required, perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be willing to participate in jobsite clean-up Reliable & strong work ethic Must be willing to exercise initiative or, as required, perform other duties as assigned Must be able to work well with others, as well as independently Past experience in a construction jobsite environment is preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Workers should be able to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; reach for, handle, and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see well (either naturally or with correction) Work Environment Standard project site environment that may include machinery, parts, and chemicals. This job is performed under conditions that expose to risk of injury and/or illness. May require protective gear/PPE, which will be supplied by Cerris Builders.
