Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on contribution will help bring construction plans to life, from foundational work to finishing touches, all while adhering to strict safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to high-quality building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site Support concrete work by operating mixers, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with formwork construction, rebar installation, and other tasks Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like cutting, shaping, and assembling building components Support framing, metal stud framing, masonry, stucco application, roofing, and other trades as needed Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on-site Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic plans accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation when necessary Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, plastering, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work is a plus Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining stamina throughout long workdays Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment may be required depending on project needs Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction! $24.76 - $29.82 per hour
