Job Description

  • Overview
  • We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with various tasks on job sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and possess a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including but not limited to: carpentry, masonry, parking lot striping, painting and plumbing.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to job sites.
  • Prepare job sites by cleaning up debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in site clean-up at the end of each workday.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
  • Qualifications
  • Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is required.
  • Previous experience operating equipment is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience working on and repairing equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
