Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our dynamic automotive customization team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly applying high-quality vinyl wraps to a variety of vehicles, transforming their appearance and providing clients with stunning, personalized finishes. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing surface repairs to ensure optimal adhesion of vinyl wraps. Measure, cut, and precisely apply vinyl materials using hand tools and specialized equipment to achieve seamless finishes. Utilize surface preparation masking techniques to protect areas not being wrapped and ensure clean edges. Operate power tools such as grinders, sanders, and spray guns for surface finishing and detailing work. Use automotive buffing and polishing tools to enhance the vehicle's appearance before and after wrapping. Apply automotive paint or coatings using conventional spraying or airless paint spraying methods when necessary for custom finishes or repairs. Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process, ensuring all wraps are smooth, bubble-free, and adhere securely. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling adhesives or paints. Assist with minor auto body repairs or auto restoration tasks as needed to support overall vehicle customization projects. Provide excellent customer service by explaining processes, addressing questions, and ensuring client satisfaction with finished work. Experience Proven experience in dealership settings or automotive shops specializing in vehicle customization or auto body repair. Hands-on knowledge of welding, mechanical systems, and automotive surface preparation techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, buffing machines, and spray guns for auto painting and refinishing. Familiarity with automotive buffing, detailing, auto glass installation, and auto restoration processes. Experience with auto estimating procedures and customer service interactions within automotive environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during installation tasks. Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience enhances ability to troubleshoot issues during wrapping or repair processes.
