We are seeking a Full-Time hard-working and self-motivated individual with the willingness to learn. You will be responsible for underground and/or aerial utility construction and general labor while maintaining OSHA/DOT's guidelines.

Work Environment & Conditions:

Field-based position working on active construction sites
Standard schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday 40-hour work week (overtime opportunities available)
Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions on uneven terrain
Physical demands include frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
May require work in confined spaces and around heavy construction equipment

Safety:

Requires personal protective equipment to be worn
Safety glasses
Hearing protection
Head protection
Steel-toed work boots
and other protective equipment as required

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Maintain a valid and clean NYS Class D driver license.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds with the ability to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods of time.
Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Must be fluent in English and be able to follow oral and written instructions
Must be able to work with a team and interact effectively, cooperatively, and professionally.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
Basic understanding of construction safety practices
Must be able to perform general construction activities and other tasks as assigned
Must provide your own standard hand tools
Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B)
1+ years of construction or manual labor experience
Previous experience in Aerial or Underground utility construction
OSHA 10
